A 100 bad days.
Life is a rollercoaster.
If you’re observant…
You’ll realize that I’ve been writing so much to motivate you during this period (well, not necessarily).
It’s because most people give up on their goals around this time of the year.
They feel it’s too late to achieve what they had initially planned to achieve in January…
But what they fail to understand is:
Your life situation can change in a second.
You never know when it’s going to happen…
But what matters is that you show up every day and play your part.
That way, you’re guaranteed to experience that change.
I don’t want you to be like the rest of the world that are giving up…
And that’s the reason for my motivating letters.
There’s time for everything, yunno.
It was a mindset I later adopted each time things didn’t go the way I wanted.
Years later, I heard a song by AJR: 100 Bad Days.
The lyrics of the song are as follows:
“A 100 bad days makes a 100 good stories…
“A 100 good stories make me interesting in parties.”
Immediately I heard this song, I loved it because it reminded me of what my friend used to tell me.
Because life is a rollercoaster…
There’s up…
There’s down…
Sometimes things seem to be going well…
Sometimes things seem to be going bad…
But trust me,
Things aren’t always what they seem.
Like a rollercoaster, the lows happen, then the highs happen afterward…
So don’t give up and throw everything away just because you’re going through the lows right now.
Stay hard…
Buckle up…
Tell yourself, “This too shall pass.”
Because it shall.
Another thing you can do, again, is to “Revisit the year“.
Here’s how:
Pick up a pen and paper.
Write down all the good things that happened to you, from January 2025 till date (15th December, 2025)
That way, you’ll see how far you’ve come, and you’ll appreciate all the efforts you put in.
Remember that the goal is to be 1% better every day.
So go ahead and craft the goals you want to achieve for the year 2026 (hehehe, I’ve crafted my own coz na Mercedes G-Wagon I wan buy.)
But also remember that setting goals without systems is just “wishful thinking“.
Well, I hope this will serve as your Monday motivation.
Stay Safe and keep pushing,
Sirajo from YBI Multimedia.
P.S: If you’d like me to explain how to set up systems that helps you achieve your goals, just reply to this email with the word “system, “ so I can explain it in my next letter.
